(InformedDNA) is hiring an experienced part-time Patient Care Coordinator for our rapidly growing company to work out of our Tampa, FL office.  Informed is the leading provider of telephone- and web-based Genetic Counseling for hereditary diseases.  By increasing nationwide access via the telephone, our patient education process empowers more individuals, their family members, and their health care providers to make the most informed genetic testing, disease screening and prevention decisions based on their personal risks.  

About the position- The Patient Care Coordinator is the vital link between the clinical providers and the patients we serve and must meet or exceed the following expectations: Provide superior customer service to patients, providers and supported staff members.  Assist patients in scheduling appointments.  Obtain accurate patient personal and family medical history.  Assist Genetic Counselors in coordinating genetic testing, tracking progress and scheduling results consultations. Coordinate genetic testing lab support.  Update and maintain automated records, data bases, and tracking systems. Manage mail and distribution program.

About you- We are searching for a Patient Care Coordinator with a “hands on, how can I help” attitude.  You must be a master at multi-tasking.  Minimum requirements include five years of superior customer service experience in a fast-paced, multi-discipline environment.
